Set up the right mindset and resolutions for 2020!

So...we are all setting the well known and popular New Year's resolutions right now..I know, don't tell me you don't do this.New year new me,right?

The only problem with these resolutions is that we tend to set wrong ones,or have too high expectations. The most popular ones nowadays are those related to diets and becoming skinny legends. With the holidays upon us,we all tend to forget about anything in our life besides food. And let's be honest,we're human beings and we like ''enjoying'' the holidays, even though we exaggerate with the amounts of food we consume, and then we regret everything and say : ,,I'm going to start my diet after the New Year's party(which we ''enjoy'' a bit to much as well). Now,don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the holidays and everything they involve, but I'm here today to talk about this subject-not about diets,chill-but about all of the resolutions we set for ourselves and never accomplish.

It's great to set yourself some resolutions, but, throughout the years I've learned that all those wishes and plans don't come true by themselves. You have to work for everything you want in life. So,how do we set the right resolutions for ourselves?

First of all, make sure that every one is accomplishable and you don't set the target too high for your reach. These things must be important things for you, things that you really believe in and are determined to work for.

Second of all, don't you think that the ,,new year new me'' thing is true.I'm sorry to inform you,but we are not able to change ourselves that much.Yes,we can improve in some ways, but it needs at least weeks for something to become a habit. So,if you want to change your diet in 2020 and you start strong, but then after the first week you go back to your unhealthy habits just because you think that one meal at McDonalds ruined your progress, you won't be able to set the right mindset and you'll start saying ,,I'll start over tomorrow'' and that will be your trap and you'll fall in an unhealthy spiral.

Now,if we are talking about entering the new year with the right mindset:

Please please please, don't start the new year regretting what you didn't accomplish in 2019 because that is definitely not the way to go.Instead, try starting your year in a positive note, determined to do more and thankful for everything you were able to do.

With all these being said,I really hope you took a little bit of your time to read this and also let's all thank 2019 for being the best year ever but also the worst sometimes, and hope that 2020 it's going to be better!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
